Cub Scout Pack 151
Welcome to Pack 151!
Pack 151 is a Cub Scout Unit located in Mount Prospect IL. We proudly serve the youth in and around the Mt. Prospect area. We are run and organized by volunteer parents and family members who implement the national Cub Scout Program. Our Pack is made up of Dens which group kids by grade level from Kindergarten-5th Grade.
About our pack
The purpose of the Scouting America program is:
- to prepare all youth to develop wide-ranging life skills
- to develop a mindset of service to their local community and beyond
- to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values and principles taught in the Scout Oath and Scout Law
Pack 151 is dedicated to delivering a fun and active program. We meet 1-3 times a month, for an hour on Tuesdays, at various locations in Mt Prospect such as Fairview school or the library. We meet either as Dens or at different Pack events. Some of our regular Pack events are held on Saturdays and are:
- Regular Pack Nights
- Rocket Launch
- Pinewood Derby
- Raingutter Regatta
- Blue and Gold Ceremony
In addition to this we also utilize local resources in and around the Chicagoland area for fun educational enrichment.
Why Join Scouts
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s a fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life. Many Universities and organizations have done research on the benefits of Scouting and the results are overwhelmingly positive. Overall, Cub Scouts offers a well-rounded program that promotes physical, mental, and emotional development in a supportive and inclusive environment.
